What Kind of Church is Christ's Church?

Christ's Church is a Restoration Movement church.  We have a very high, conservative view of the Bible.  We believe that the Bible is God's word and it is our road map for everything we do.  We believe that the Bible is the inerrant word of God and our first and only source of doctrine.

Our leadership begins with Jesus, who is the head of the church (Colossians 1:18).  We are then led by a group of elders (1 Timothy 3:1-7).  These elders are appointed and ordained by the current body of Elders.  The Elders have also appointed and hired a group of paid Staff.  The Staff work in conjunction with the Elders to accomplish our mission.  In addition to Elders and Staff, we have many volunteer leaders in various ministries who are all working together to connect people to Christ, the Church and the community.

While we are conservative doctrinally, we try to be contemporary in practice.  From our style of worship to our focus on small groups to our Children's and Youth ministries, we want to meet people where they are and present our message in a compelling and engaging way.
